Expanding Growth sees New Regional Manager Hired at Europlacer Americas
Europlacer Americas announces that it has added Craig ‘CJ’ Brown to its management team as Regional Manager for the South, South East and Central US. This important new position constitutes a cooperative move to strengthen the company’s sales operations across the Americas in the light of expanding sales growth.
Brown is a proficient and respected electronics industry professional with significant experience in the SMT assembly equipment market. In his previous roles, he served as a Sales Manager for DEK in the late 1990s and early 2000s where he pioneered the company’s Distributed Products division, significantly growing revenue and managing many key Tier 1 accounts.

Most recently, Brown owned and operated his own Executive Search Firm in the Enterprise Software Arena, selling to Fortune 500 companies mainly at CEO and VP level. He brings numerous assets to the robust Europlacer team, including a proven track record of developing strong, effective infrastructures and securing new business, using a highly technical and inquisitive, fact-finding approach. “This methodology aligns perfectly with the customer-driven philosophy that underpins our global operations at Europlacer – as evidenced by our achievement in receiving the Circuits Assembly Service Excellence Award in the pick & place category for the past eight years in a row,” adds Merow.
The addition of Brown to the management team comes at a time of unprecedented sales growth for Europlacer worldwide, including a record year in 2020. In parallel, Europlacer Americas has bolstered its service department by hiring three new Field Engineers in the first quarter of 2021 alone.
