Poole-based Blakell Europlacer has been named one of the top-performing mid-market businesses in the Central South of England by national Accountancy & Business Advisory firm BDO LLP. The Blakell Europlacer Group comprises the Europlacer and Speedprint Technology business units, which manufacture automatic pick & place machines and screen printing equipment respectively, used in the surface mount assembly of electronic circuit boards.
This was the first year that Europlacer has been recognised by the BDO Central South annual award campaign – an initiative designed to champion companies across the region. The firm’s expert judging panel evaluates businesses based on a combination of operating profit and turnover growth measured over both a one-year and three-year period.
